Large format, illustrated in b/w and colour with nearly 1250 plates. Monumental work on Danish lichens complete in 10 volumes of which vol. VI mising. Vol. X published posthumously, edited by M. Skytte Christiansen. Pages uncut except a limited no. in vol I. Wrappers in fairly good condition, some as new, some with stained spine. A few with wear. Vol. IX with large stain (6 cm) at bottom of front wrapper and minor stains at bottom of ffep and half title.
