Okkultisme Author James Lewis Thomas Chalmers Spence (1874 - 1955) was a Scottish journalist, folklorist, and prolific author of books on the occult and mythology. This is the first edition of his far ranging study of 'Second sight,' the phenonmenon in which a person is said to psychically receive information about the future, usually in the form of a vision. Although the phenomenon is most commonly associated with Scottish Highlanders, Spence traces it through a number of societies and time periods.
