Softback på 250 sider. Lille rift (1 cm) i bogens forside. Navn på tidl. ejer ses på indersiden af forsiden. Ellers er bogen frisk, uden spor af tidl. ejer. - Om bogen: Using photos of famous people, the author explains techniques for uncovering clues to people's personalities. - Very influential on me as a photographer - and in looking at photographs in general for clues I'd missed in the past, e.g., what can be gleaned about the relationships between people in photographs by how they're oriented and other cues. If you can find it, well worthwhile. One section of particular interest was on the inherent asymmetry between the left and right sides of people's faces - not only in how they make them more interesting and actually complete, but how the differences can show inner conflicts. The author cut and flipped a number of faces, making "new faces" out of people's two left sides and two right sides. These composites a) both showed how "unnatural" faces look when NOT assymmetric and b) the ones of Richard Nixon totally showed both his "I AM a dangerous crook" and his more human impulses.
